Two wide panels rise from the waist, cross the bust and pass around the back of the neck, leaving a deep V open between them to below the bust. The waist is drawn into soft knotted gathers at one side, and the whole back is bare to that waist. From the knot the skirt falls to the floor and opens in a high split at the front.
